What
is Jihad? Is it an inner struggle, as many Muslims claim? According to the Koran,
jihad means "leaving your homes and spending your wealth in the cause of Allah." It does not indicate an inner struggle.
The Koran is clear on what one is to do when one leaves their home and spends their wealth in the cause of Allah.
Fighting is ordained, whether they like it or not:
- Fighting is ordained for you, while it is repugnant to you. It may be that you
dislike a thing which is good for you ,and it may also be that you prefer a thing and it may be worse for you. Allah knows
all and you know not. (2:216)
- They enquire from thee about
fighting in the sacred month. Say to them: Fighting in it is a great evil; but to hinder people from the way of Allah and
to deny him and to profane the sanctity of the sacred mosque, and to turn out its people therefrom is a much greater evil
in the sight of Allah; and disorder is a worse evil than killing. They will not stop fighting you until they turn you back
from your faith, if they can. (2:217)
Islam is not peace. Muslims are told not to cry for peace when they are winning:
- Be not weary
and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for Allah is with you, and will never put you in loss for
your actions. 47:35
Fight all who don't believe in Islam or don't prohibit what Islam prohibits (eating
pork is one) no matter what their religion, until they submit or pay the tax:
Fight
those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger,
nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing
submission, and feel themselves subdued. (9:29)
Slay those who
wage war against Allah. Kill infidels. Create disorder:
- The appropriate penalty for those who wage war against
Allah and his messenger and run about in the land creating disorder is that they be slain or crucified or their hands and
their feet be cut off on alternate sides, or they be expelled from the land. (5:33)
Islam is about world domination:
- And
fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely
Allah sees what they do. (8:39)
Anyone who disbelieves Islam or Mohammad as a prophet deserves death:
- The disbelievers wish that you would disbelieve
as they have disbelieved, so that you may become all alike. Make not, therefore, friends with any of them, until they emigrate
in the way of Allah. If they turn away, seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take no friend or helper from
among them except such of them as are connected with a people between whom and you there is a pact…therefore, if they
do not restrain their hands, seize them and kill them wherever you find them. Against these we have given you clear authority.
(4:89-90)
- Those who insult Allah
and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this World and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating torment
(33:57)
- Fight
those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden
which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge
the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and
feel themselves subdued. (9:29)
- But when the forbidden months
are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in
every stratagem of war; but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and pay the jizya, then open the way for them (9:5)
A tale about how Moses
was shown that slaying an innocent boy was good since the boy would have grown up unaccepting of Islam ( no non-Muslims
are innocent.)Allah would give his parents a better son anyway:
- Then
they proceeded ; until, when they met a young man, he slew him. Moses said, "Hast thou slain an innocent person
who had slain none? Truly a foul thing thou hast done!"...."his parents were people of Faith, and we feared that
he would grieve them by obstinate rebellion and ingratitude to Allah. So we desired that their Lord would give them in exchange
a son better in purity of conduct and closer in affection. (18:74-81)
Agression is worse than killing. So killing
is endorsed against agressors (such as the US or Israel):
- Fight in
the cause of allah against those who fight against you, but transgress not. Surely, Allah loves not the transgressors. Once
they start the fighting, kill them wherever you meet them, and drive them out from where they have driven you out: For aggression
is more heinous than killing. But fight them not in the proximity of the sacred mosque unless they fight you therein. Should
they fight you even there, then fight them, such is the requital of these disbelievers.(2: 191)
If Muslims fight they will always be victorious:
- O prophet, sufficient for
thee are allah and those believers who follow thee. O prophet, exhort the believers to fight; if there be of you twenty steadfast
ones, they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be a hundred of you, they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieved,
because they are a people who lack understanding (8:64-65)
- Allah knows that at
present you are weak, so he has lightened your burden. If there be of you a hundred steadfast ones, they shall overcome two
hundred; and if there be a thousand of you they shall overcome two thousand, by the command of allah. Allah is with those
who are steadfast. (8:66)
Allah sent iron for war:
- We have sent our messengers with manifest signs and have sent
down with them the book and the balance, that people may act with justice. We sent down iron which furnishes weapons for violent
warfare, and also provides many benefits, that allah may make known those who help him and his messengers out of faith (57:25)
Allah is speaking of a Jewish tribe that Mohammad exiled into the
desert to die. Their crime was resisting Islam:
- But Allah’s torment came to them from where they did not suspect and he cast terror into their
hearts, so that their dwellings were destroyed by their own hands and the hands of the Believers. Take warning, then, O ye who see. And had it not been that Allah had decreed banishment into the desert for
the Children of Israel, he would have punished them in this world, and in
the next they shall taste the hellfire. That is because they resisted Allah and His Messenger: and if any one resists Allah,
verily Allah is severe in Punishment. (59:2-4)
Does the Koran forbid suicide? The verse used by Muslims to prove Islam forbids suicide is below.
Three translations are shown to prove the verse is not about suicide. It is about Muslims killing EACH OTHER:
- "O
ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual
good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful!" YusufAli (4:29)
- "O ye who believe! Squander not your wealth among yourselves
in vanity, except it be a trade by mutual consent, and kill not one another. Lo! Allah is ever Merciful unto you."
Pickthal (4:29)
- "O you who believe! do not devour your
property among yourselves falsely, except that it be trading by your mutual consent; and do not kill your people; surely Allah
is Merciful to you. " Shakir (4:29)
So it
says not to kill other Muslims, right? Then how come they do that? According to the Koran, those who do NOT fight for Allah
in the manner described by the Koran, are considered Hypocrites. If they interfere with
the Jihadists, the Jihadists are ordered to fight against them:
- Truly, if
the Hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and those who stir up sedition in the City, desist not, We shall certainly
stir thee up against them: Then will they not be able to stay in it as thy neighbours for any length of time: (33:60)
They shall have a curse on them: whenever they are found, they shall be seized
and slain (without mercy). (33:61)
Fighters are higher ranking
than non fighters. Jihad is not an inner struggle:
- Not equal are those
believers who sit at home like women and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of allah with their
goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than
to those who sit at home. (4:95)
Even though suicide is NOT forbidden in Islam, why do so many embrace it? Because death is better than life.
Martyrdom is encouraged:
· The hither life is but sport and play, and surely the abode of
the hereafter is better for those who are mindful of their duty to allah. (6:32)
- It
is allah who gives life and causes death. If you are slain or you die in the cause of allah, surely allah’s forgiveness
and mercy are far better than that which the disbelievers hoard. If you die or be slain surely it is allah unto whom you shall
be gathered. (3:157)
- Do not account those who are slain in the cause of allah, as dead.
Indeed, they are living in the presence of their lord and are provided for. (2:169)
- They
are jubilant over that which allah has bestowed upon them of his bounty, and rejoice for those who have not yet joined them
out of such as they left behind, because on them shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve. (3:170-172)
·
Whoso fights in the cause of
allah, be he slain or be he victorious, we shall soon give him a great reward. (4:74)
·
Knowest thou not of those who were
told: restrain your hands, observe prayer and pay the zakat: but they were eager to fight? Yet, now that fighting has
been prescribed for them, suddenly a section of them have begun to fear people as they should fear allah or even more, and
they say: Lord, why hast thou prescribed fighting for us? Wouldst thou not grant us respite yet awhile? Tell them: the enjoyment
of this life is a trifle and the hereafter is better for those who are mindful of their duty to Allah (4:77)
Death is best and you are punished for not fighting:
- O ye who believe, what ails you that, when it is said to you: Go forth, all together, to fight in
the cause of allah; you are held down by your worldly interests? Is it that you prefer the hither life to the hereafter? If
so, you must remember that all this life has to offer is of little value in comparison with the hereafter, If you go not forth,
he will chastise you with a painful chastisement and will replace you with another people, and you shall do him no harm at
all. (9:38-39)
Is beheading
mentioned in the Koran? YES:
- I
will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. O ye who believe, strike at their necks and smite all their finger
tips off them. (8:12)
Allah asks Muslims to commit terrorist acts for him. Beheading, ransom and martyrdom is rewarded:
- When you meet in battle those who have disbelieved, smite their necks and after the slaughter fasten
tight the bonds, until the war lays aside its burdens. Then either release them as a favor, or in return for ransom.
That is the ordinance. Had allah so pleased he could have punished them himself, but he has willed that he may try some of
you by means of others. Allah will never render vain the works of those who are slain in his cause. He will guide them and
improve their condition and admit them into the garden which he has made known to them. (47:4-6)
Allah tests humans to
make sure they will kill disbelievers:
- O ye who believe! When ye meet the unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them. If
any do turn his back to them on such a day—unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop of his own—he
draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is hell—an evil refuge indeed! (8:15-16)
It is not ye who slew them, it was Allah: When thou threwest a handful of dust, it was not thy act, but Allah’s,
in order that he might test the believers by a gracious trial from himself: for allah is he who heareth and knoweth all things.
(8:15-17)
Permission to commit the acts on 9/11. Allah covers evil deeds of those who serve
him:
- Allah
said: Surely I am with you; if you keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and believe in My messengers and assist them and offer
to Allah a goodly gift, I will most certainly cover your evil deeds,
and I will most certainly cause you to enter into gardens beneath which rivers flow, but whoever disbelieves from among you
after that, he indeed shall lose the right way. (5:12)
- Wherever ye are, death will find you
out, even if ye are in towers built up strong and high! (4:78)
Fighting is basic Koran message and those who reject it are diseased:
- When a surah of basic or categorical meaning is revealed,
and fighting is mentioned therein, thou wilt see those in whose hearts is a disease looking at thee with a look of one in
swoon at the approach of death. (47:20)
Those who reject faith:
- Say to those who reject faith: Soon will ye be vanquished and gathered together to hell-an evil bed indeed!
(3:12)
Disbelievers
are vile:
- Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are
those who disbelieve, then they would not believe. (8:55)
No outsiders as friends:
- O ye who believe, do not take outsiders as your intimate
friends, they will not fail to cause you injury. They love to see you in trouble. (3:118)
If you convert to Islam you cannot love your non-Muslim family:
- Thou wilt not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, loving those who resist Allah and His Messenger,
even though they were their fathers or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred. (58:22)
Keep away from disbelievers:
- Let not the believers take the disbelievers for friends or helpers in preference to believers; whoever
does that has no connection with allah. Your only course is to keep away from them altogether. (3:28)
Don’t obey disbelievers:
· O ye who believe, if you obey those who have disbelieved, they will cause
you to revert to disbelief and you will become losers (3:149)
Apostates (those who leave Islam) should be murdered:- They
(the Hypocrites) desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be alike; therefore take not
from among them friends until they flee to Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever
you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper. (4:89)
Everyone must be Muslim:
· And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted
from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. had come unto them. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
Allah does not guide the unjust people, their reward is that upon them is the curse of Allah and the angels and of men, all
together Abiding in it; their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be respited. (3:86-88)
O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam. (3:102)
